〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕烏克蘭南方作戰司令部發言人胡梅紐克（Natalia Humeniuk）2日表示，烏克蘭軍隊現階段正在第聶伯河（Dnipro River）左岸與俄軍激戰中，爭奪對於安東尼夫斯基橋（Antonivsky Bridge）橋頭堡的控制權。
緊臨著赫爾松（Kherson）的安東尼夫斯基橋是一座南北向橫跨第聶伯河的橋梁，但這座橋已被摧毀，無法用來渡河。
基輔獨立報（Kyiv Independent）報導，除了上述資訊，胡梅紐克還表示，當前烏軍的戰術重點是沿著第聶伯河的前線進行反炮火攻擊。
美國智庫戰爭研究所（ISW）先前曾援引俄國軍事部落格的消息指出，儘管俄羅斯動用了伊斯坎德爾彈道飛彈（Iskander），仍無法奪取位於第聶伯河左岸，由約70名的烏克蘭士兵防守的橋頭堡據點，這些烏克蘭戰士運用安東尼夫斯基的橋梁殘骸作為掩護。
另根據英國國防部7月1日對戰局的分析，烏克蘭軍方當前似乎有加派人手到第聶伯河左岸的意圖。

Pro-Russian sources confirm that all attempts to force Ukrainian troops out of the Antonovsky bridgehead have failed.
